Hell is real. At the moment of your death you will be taken to heaven if you know the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave his life on the cross for our sins and rose again, as your Saviour ... or you will be taken straight to hell! Imagine that! You could be walking down a busy street or shopping in a supermarket one moment, have a heart attack the next and then find yourself being taken to hell!
Hell is a place of fire and torment. (see Luke 16:23-31 King James Bible) As you read this, more people will be entering it! There are multitudes of people there already and all of them, without exception, are bitterly regretting that they rejected God; regretting that they didn't listen to Christian evangelists, regretting that they ignored the words of the Bible they read or heard, regretting that they stubbornly refused to repent, believe in Jesus Christ as their Saviour, and confess Him as Lord.
These souls in torment will have to stay in this dreadful place until the Day of Judgment for unbelievers, where they will stand before the great white throne of God, now in their resurrected bodies. At that throne, as they stand before God, they will bow their knees and confess Jesus as Lord. There they will be judged by God - the Lord Jesus Christ, as he sits on his throne. 'For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:' John 5:22 It will be TOO LATE to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son, in repentance, TOO LATE to trust in Him as Saviour. They will be judged according to their works. Their names will NOT be found in the book of life ..... and holy angels will cast them into the lake of fire! The lake of fire will be a place of weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth; a place of utter despair and misery; a place of everlasting regret; a place of EVERLASTING TORMENT in the flames. '

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
